Rhynchostele uro-skinneri

This species has the same plant
habit as its cousin Lemboglossum bictoniense. It grows in thick humus and fallen
leaves on the ground. It is very uncommon in Chiapas and only found in isolated
undisturbed forested areas along the border of Guatemala near the mountain peaks
above 5000 ft/1500 meters elevation towards the pacific. I found it once in 1983
and have never seen it again in the wild.
