Encyclia dickinsoniana

Named in honor of the late Mr. Sterling Dickinson who founded the art institute in San Miguel Allende, Guanajuato.  This species was confused for many years with the Encyclia guatemalensis.  It ranges from Chiapas north to Tamaulipas near sea level in the northern range and up to 4000 ft elevation in Chiapas.
