Maxillaria variabilis
Well, I'll be derned, that is the same species, but the color sure varies, I guess that is why they call it variabilis! Super common along the 1000 meter contour on both the eastern and western slopes. These plants can form mats weighing over 50 pounds! Each new growth can actually be broken off and rooted in moss to form a new plant. ENDANGERED!!! LOL!!!
